These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of lowcostgarden.com’s Website, located at https://lowcostgarden.com/.

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Low Cost Garden if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

Our Contract 

When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgment e-mail confirming receipt of your order: this email will only be an acknowledgment and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us will not be formed until we send you confirmation by e-mail that the goods which you ordered have been dispatched to you. Only those goods listed in the confirmation e-mail sent at the time of dispatch will be included in the contract formed.

Terms of sale

Once you have submitted your order and the checkout process is complete, your order will be removed from stock and your credit card will be charged immediately if you select to pay by credit card. Customers approve that their order will be delivered without the need for a signature. Unless the customer has made other arrangements with the carrier, our carrier will leave the package(s) unattended.

Wrong item

We take great care to label the varieties by name and we will replace the product if we have sent the wrong plant. There will be no refund of the purchase price of the plant, but we will replace the plant at our expense. The customer confirms that he/she understands the type of plant he/she is buying as published on each product page at lowcostgarden.com. We will not replace or refund items in which the customer has purchased the wrong type of plant. In the unlikely event that an item is missing from your order, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt. All we ask for is a photo of the items received, including the packing slip, and we will reship the goods. We do not offer refunds, but if the missing item is not in stock, the customer can replace it with an item of comparable value.

Pricing and Availability

Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions, and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as canceled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Delivery costs will be charged in addition; such additional charges are clearly displayed where applicable and included in the ‘Total Cost’.


Payments Types Accepted: Cash on Delivery

We accept Cash on Delivery as a payment method. Instead of paying upfront, customers get to examine on-site, then pay for it once they deem the package fitting and satisfactory. You can then remits payment to the shipping company, who relays the payment back to us. Conversely, customers could also deny payment if the package is not up to your requirements.

The ‘Cash on Delivery’ payment term is usually discussed and agreed upon before finalization of the sale. When COD is the agreed upon payment terms, this means that the payment is collected at delivery, instead of before the products are shipped.

It is important to clarify that the payment must still be gathered before the handover of the products, preventing delivery in the case that payment is not provided.

Cancel an order

All requests for cancellation must be made by email during normal business hours at lowcostgarden@gmail.com. Any orders canceled prior to shipment will be subject to a cancellation charge of $10.00 or 10% of the purchase price, whichever is greater. A higher cancellation fee may apply for large orders and/or orders with freight shipping. Orders cannot be canceled after the order has been shipped or if the order is in the process of being packed.


Sales are permanent. We guarantee all lowcostgarden.com products to be high quality, true to type, and properly shipped. If you are not satisfied with the quality of your items ordered you may refuse to take delivery of all or part of your order and contact us for a refund. Refunds are given for plant and gardening supplies quality issues such as damage in shipment, pest or disease infestation, or if the wrong plant was shipped.


We will handle, package and ship the products you order with the utmost care to ensure healthy delivery. Shipping and handling charges are $40 per order. Please note that some items include an additional handling surcharge, these will be noted on the item’s product page.

  • In most cases, your order will be shipped in 2- 3 business days during business days.
  • Delivery normally takes 5 – 10 business days.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Customers can ask for an exchange within two weeks of delivery if they want to.

To be eligible for exchanges

  • The item must be in the original packaging and good conditions.
  • The shipping costs of the item back to our warehouses will be paid by the customer.

In the event that Low Cost Garden accepts exchanged merchandise, a restocking fee of 30% of the purchase price of the order, along with all shipping charges, will be charged.

Because plants are highly perishable, no exchanges will be accepted within two weeks of delivery or in the case of planted material.
